Capability notes:
For modern uses, just a text terminal. I have found some client software to make it do VT-100 emulation that works quite well. Because it lacks the cpu power for encryption it pretty much rules out everything but a telnet session. There are other unencrypted connections out there such as DX spotting network, weather, many BBS systems, and more. I will occasionally run my own telnet service so I can relay through a local computer to a ssh server

There are a lot of great nostalgic games I play on this computer such as Aztec, Choplifter, Wizardry, Bards Tale, and more.

X-Session
Overview picture from the front showing the cream colored Apple IIe platinum with 2x Apple disk II drives, and the green monochrome monitor. On the screen it says ‘A 80s Apple II BBS’ To the left of the computer is a 5.25” disk holder full of disks with the top up. On the top of the monitor is the apple joystick.

X-Session This picture is the Apple IIe with the top cover off. Its taken from an angle and you can see all the expansion cards. There is an Ethernet cable coming in from the back, looping around two super serial cards and into the Ethernet card. You can also see the CF card stuck into the ReActiveMicro Drive/Trurbo IDE controller
